Universitas Indonesia stays in top‑200 world university rankings

Universitas Indonesia (UI) retained its position as Indonesia’s leading university in the QS World University Rankings 2027, placing 191st worldwide. It remained the only Indonesian institution to break into the global top‑200 and held the top spot domestically.

Rector Heri Hermansyah highlighted the achievement as a collective effort of faculty, alumni and partners, noting strong scores in Employer Reputation (87.4), Employment Outcomes (81.0) and International Faculty Ratio (88.4). He urged the university to build on the result, aiming for greater international contributions and research impact.
