Universitas Mercatorum hosts Network of the Future conference in Rome
The 17th International Conference on Network of the Future (NoF) is being held in Rome, hosted by Universitas Mercatorum. The event brings together scholars and professionals from 29 countries across five continents through October 2.
Key topics of discussion include the application of artificial intelligence to networks, 5G and 6G technologies, cybersecurity, Open RAN, digital twins, and cloud-edge infrastructures. The conference also addresses AI-native architectures, cloud-native networking, edge computing, the Internet of Things, and network resilience.
The program features technical sessions, demonstrations, and international keynotes focusing on next-generation network prospects, ranging from 6G to European infrastructures for testing technologies beyond 5G. A dedicated panel, ‘Networks in the AI Era: Data as a Goldmine for Research and Innovation’, explores the intersection of AI and networking with academic, industrial, and institutional experts.
