Universitas Muhammadih Magelang Boosts Alumni Tracer Study with Faculty Operator Training

The Lembaga Pengembangan Mahasiswa (LPMA) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Magelang organized a socialization and technical training session for tracer‑study operators on 31 July. The event, held at Campus 1, was led by Dr. Muhdiyanto, head of the Career Development Center (CDC) and alumni division, and attended by operators from all faculties.

LPMA director Hijrah Eko Putro emphasized that the tracer study is a strategic tool for mapping alumni career paths and gauging employer satisfaction with graduate competencies. Improved data quality will feed internal quality‑assurance processes, inform curriculum revisions under Outcome‑Based Education, and enhance CDC services to better align graduates with labor‑market needs.

The training aimed to ensure uniform understanding of tracer‑study mechanisms, increase graduate participation, and strengthen communication between faculties, alumni, and employer users, thereby supporting the university’s goal of producing competent, adaptable, and socially responsible graduates.
