Universitas Negeri Jakarta wins Jakarta Regional Coca-Cola University League

Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) has been crowned the Jakarta Regional champion of the 2026 Coca-Cola University League. UNJ secured the title with an undefeated record, concluding their campaign with a 16-0 victory against Universitas Pakuan (Unpak) at PTIK Stadium in South Jakarta on August 23, 2026.

UNJ finished the season at the top of the standings with 38 points from 14 matches. In the Bandung Regional division, STKIP Pasundan claimed the championship earlier in the season with 36 points from 12 matches. The league, which ran from April 18 to August 23, 2026, featured 15 university teams from Jakarta and Bandung across 98 total matches.

Beyond the athletic competition, the league aims to foster leadership, teamwork, and character development among students. The program also provided international exposure, with players Elang Cikal Brajananta and M. Elyas Aryo Saputro representing Indonesia at the United Nations Headquarters in New York for a youth mental health and well-being football program.
