Universitas Syiah Kuala expands academic and research collaborations

Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK) is expanding its academic and research networks through new collaborative agreements in Indonesia. The USK Graduate School has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara (UMSU) to strengthen education and research efforts.

Prof. Dr. drh. Muslim Akmal, MP, Director of the USK Graduate School, noted that the collaboration aims to drive internationalization, particularly for the Doctoral Program in Engineering, which maintains a significant student body.

Additionally, USK Rector Prof. Mirza Tabrani expressed readiness to strengthen synergy with UIN Ar-Raniry. This initiative focuses on integrating academic knowledge with the reinforcement of national character and religious values. The move follows remarks from Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar regarding the importance of integrating scientific knowledge with spiritual values in higher education.
