Universitat Politècnica de València implements online classes in Gandia due to heavy rain

The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has announced that its Gandia campus will conduct all classes online this Monday due to a red weather alert for heavy rainfall issued by the State Meteorological Agency. To ensure safety and minimize travel during the storm, the university has postponed all in-person evaluations scheduled for the Gandia campus, with new dates to be communicated later.

While the Gandia campus transitions to remote learning, the Vera and Alcoi campuses will maintain normal academic and work schedules. However, the UPV has decided to postpone scheduled evaluations at the Alcoi campus to assist students living in areas heavily impacted by the weather. The university has also advised staff at the Gandia campus to avoid traveling to the facilities in person whenever possible.
