Universitatea Cluj shifts Europa League match to Sepsi OSK Arena

FC Universitatea Cluj announced that its home leg of the second‑qualifying round of the Europa League cannot be played at Cluj Arena because the venue is being prepared for the Untold music festival. The club will instead host the match on 23 July 2026 at the Sepsi OSK Arena in Sfântu Gheorghe. Negotiations with the festival organisers to hold the game on 22 July alongside the preparation works failed, prompting the club to thank the Sepsi stadium for its support. The change applies to the first leg of the tie against Dinamo Kyiv, with the return leg scheduled for 16 July at Cluj Arena.

The decision highlights scheduling conflicts between major sporting events and large cultural festivals, forcing the Romanian side to relocate its European fixture to a neighboring city while the Untold festival occupies its primary stadium in early August.
