Universitatea Craiova Valerică Găman Mihai Rotaru Romanian football sports management

Valerică Găman has been appointed as the sports director for the second team of Universitatea Craiova. The former central defender, who played for the club between 2021 and 2023, returns to the project as part of a strategy to surround the team with experienced football professionals.

Former LPF president Dumitru Dragomir commented on the club's management structure, noting that while owner Mihai Rotaru is intelligent and knows how to select knowledgeable personnel, the number of directors within the organization has become excessive.
