Daniel Graovac and Adrian Rus face significant injury setbacks

Several players in the Romanian SuperLiga have suffered significant injuries. Rapid București defender Daniel Graovac is set to undergo surgery following a serious knee injury sustained during a match against Petrolul. Medical examinations revealed complex meniscus and ligament damage, which will sideline the 32-year-old for the remainder of the season. Some reports suggest the injury was exacerbated by poor pitch conditions at the stadium.

Universitatea Craiova defender Adrian Rus is also facing time away from the pitch. While initially feared to be a long-term issue, the club announced that Rus is expected to return to training within approximately one month. His absence is noted as a setback for both his club and the Romanian national team.
