Alejandro Dolina receives Doctor Honoris Causa from UBA

The University of Buenos Aires (UBA) has awarded the title of Doctor Honoris Causa to Alejandro Dolina, recognizing his extensive intellectual and artistic career in literature, music, radio, and television.

The ceremony took place at the Faculty of Social Sciences auditorium before an audience of over 700 people. University Rector Ricardo Gelpi and Vice Dean Diego de Charras were present to present the diploma and medal. The distinction was promoted by the Faculty of Social Sciences and approved by the University's Superior Council.

Dolina, a prominent figure in Argentine culture, participated in a conversation with writer and psychologist Gabriel Rolón following the award. In his remarks, Dolina reflected on the human condition and the importance of public higher education, emphasizing that formal academic institutions are essential spaces for the exchange of ideas and the generation of knowledge.
