Universities celebrate graduations and academic accreditation

The Universidad de las Artes de Yucatán (UNAY) celebrated the graduation of 83 professionals across various artistic disciplines. The graduates include students from Higher University Technician programs in Music, bachelor's degrees in Musical Arts, Visual Arts, Theater, and Contemporary Dance, as well as a Master's in Art.

UNAY Rector Domingo Rodríguez Semerena emphasized the importance of these professionals in contributing creativity and critical thinking to the region. The ceremony was attended by families from several Mexican states and representatives from education and culture secretariats.

In Argentina, the Universidad Nacional de Villa Mercedes (UNViMe) received formal accreditation for its Bioengineering program from the National Commission for University Evaluation and Accreditation (CONEAU). The accreditation is valid for six years and follows a rigorous evaluation process conducted by a peer commission to recognize the academic quality of the program.
