Universities hold orientation programs for new students
Various universities are conducting orientation programs for the new academic year. At I-Shou University, an orientation for nearly 2,000 new students focused on campus adaptation and the integration of artificial intelligence through the ‘AI@ISU’ policy. President Ku Yuan-kuang encouraged students to utilize the library, sports facilities, and student clubs to broaden their horizons. The event also featured a guest lecture by entertainer Huang Din-hui, who shared his career transition from the technology sector to performing arts.
At the Harbin Institute of Technology, the College of Chemical Engineering and Technology held an orientation meeting for incoming 2026 doctoral students. The session covered administrative management, laboratory safety, and research confidentiality. Faculty members emphasized the importance of aligning scientific research with national strategic needs and provided guidance on doctoral training processes and career planning.
