Universities host welcome events for fall semester

Universities are hosting various welcome events to mark the start of the fall semester.

Florida State University is conducting ‘Welcome FSU’ from August 17 to August 29. The program includes social, cultural, and academic activities, such as the ‘Foodstock’ dining event and the reopening of the Fitness & Movement Clinic, aimed at helping students connect with the campus community.

The University of Southern Indiana is holding its ‘Welcome Week’ starting August 13. Activities include new student move-in, a formal convocation at Liberty Arena, and community events such as ‘USI Night at the Otters’ and a free pancake breakfast.
