Universities in Argentina and Bolivia receive academic accreditation
Several universities in Latin America have achieved significant academic milestones through quality accreditation processes.
In Argentina, the Universidad Autónoma de Entre Ríos (UADER) received a six-year accreditation for its Telecommunications Engineering program from the Comisión Nacional de Evaluación y Acreditación Universitaria (CONEAU). This marks the first time an engineering program at UADER has received the maximum possible accreditation period, reinforcing the institution's role in regional scientific and technological development.
In Bolivia, the Universidad Mayor Real y Pontificia de San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca presented its institutional self-evaluation and external evaluation report. This process resulted in international accreditation from the Consejo de Evaluación y Acreditación Internacional (CEAI) of the Unión de Universidades de América Latina y el Caribe (UDUALC). University officials noted that this represents the first time in the institution's 400-year history that it has undergone such an external evaluation process.
