Universities in Argentina and Honduras sign cooperation agreements
In Argentina, the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism (FAU) at the National University of Tucumán (UNT) has signed a cooperation agreement with Sociedad Aguas del Tucumán (SAT). The partnership focuses on professional training and technical cooperation regarding sustainable water use. The agreement includes paid internships for senior architecture students and supervised practices for those enrolled in professional assistance courses, allowing students to gain practical experience in a professional environment.
In Honduras, the Municipal Mayor's Office of the Central District (AMDC) and the National Autonomous University of Honduras (UNAH) have established a framework cooperation agreement. This alliance aims to address urban needs in Tegucigalpa and Comayagüela through academic and scientific expertise. Key areas of collaboration include infrastructure, potable water, environmental management, road safety, disaster mitigation, and territorial planning. The agreement facilitates internships, social service, and technical assistance, enabling UNAH to provide research and innovation to support municipal management.
