Universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina to begin 2026/2027 academic year

Universities in Bosnia and Herzegovina are preparing for the start of the 2026/2027 academic year on October 1, 2026.

At the University of Mostar, the new academic year will begin with introductory meetings for first-year undergraduate students. These sessions are designed to familiarize freshmen with their studies, academic environments, and university regulations. Detailed schedules for these meetings will be provided by individual organizational units via their official websites.

At the University of Tuzla, the academic year also commences on October 1. The university is currently finalizing freshman enrollment and the allocation of student dormitory spaces. For the upcoming year, accommodation and meals have been arranged for 410 students, including 405 citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and five international students. Final ranking lists for student housing are expected to be released by September 30.
