Universities in Colombia and Chile expand international academic cooperation

Higher education institutions in Colombia and Chile are expanding international cooperation and academic offerings.

In Colombia, the Universidad del Sinú is pursuing cooperation agreements with Panamanian institutions following the launch of a direct air route between Montería and Panama City. The university's leadership met with the Panamanian Ambassador to Colombia to explore opportunities in business, tourism, academia, and research, aiming to facilitate student and researcher mobility.

In Chile, Universidad Andrés Bello (UNAB) has introduced new bilingual programs through its International College, including Engineering and Technology Management and Global Management. These programs offer students the opportunity to earn a double degree with Arizona State University in the United States, allowing for a fourth year of study either in person or remotely.
