Universities in Cuba and Mexico sign scientific collaboration agreement

The Universidad de Cienfuegos ‘Carlos Rafael Rodríguez’ (UCf) in Cuba and the Universidad Politécnica de Yucatán in Mexico have formalized a collaboration agreement to promote scientific cooperation.

The partnership focuses on high-impact fields such as artificial intelligence, data science, and cybersecurity. Representatives from both institutions noted that the agreement aims to strengthen curriculum internationalization, facilitate continuous training for specialists, and identify shared research interests.

As part of the agreement, students and faculty from the Mexican university have been invited to participate in the IV International Scientific Convention of the Universidad de Cienfuegos, scheduled for October 20–23.
