Universities in Mexico and Spain announce academic initiatives

The Centro Universitario de los Altos (CUAltos) in Mexico will host its first university parliament on October 7, 2026. The event aims to allow students to act as legislators, presenting and debating proposals on topics such as education, security, the environment, health, and human rights to bridge the gap between academic discussion and public policy.

In Spain, the University of Valladolid is coordinating the first online roundtable regarding the teaching of Universal Accessibility in Architecture. Scheduled for September 30, 2026, the session will bring together professors and professionals from various Spanish universities to exchange academic perspectives on integrating accessibility into architectural education.
