Universities in Navarre welcome new students for 2026-2027 academic year
The 2026-2027 academic year has commenced for universities in the Navarre region. The University of Navarra is hosting over 14,000 students across its campuses in Pamplona, San Sebastián, and Madrid. This cohort includes approximately 10,000 undergraduate, 1,700 master's, and 1,103 doctoral students.
Of the more than 2,573 new undergraduate students, 64.4% are Spanish, while 35.6% are international students representing 66 different countries. The largest international groups include students from Colombia, Mexico, Peru, and the United States. The university has introduced new academic offerings, including a redesigned Journalism degree and a new Corporate Communication degree.
Simultaneously, the Public University of Navarre (UPNA) has welcomed thousands of local students for the start of their degree programs, with many students enrolling in fields such as Law, Primary Education, and various engineering disciplines.
