Universities in Peru and Bolivia award academic and talent scholarships

The Universidad Nacional de Ingeniería (UNI) in Peru and the Universidad Católica Boliviana (UCB) San Pablo in La Paz, Bolivia, have held ceremonies to award scholarships for the 2026 academic period.

In Peru, Minera Poderosa delivered the Jesús Arias Dávila scholarships to UNI students in recognition of academic excellence. The initiative, now in its twentieth edition, supports students in fields such as geology, metallurgy, and mining through an agreement with the Patronato UNI.

In Bolivia, UCB La Paz awarded scholarships for academic excellence, as well as specific grants for contributions to culture and sports. These awards recognize students' dedication to their university training and their involvement in extracurricular disciplines including basketball, volleyball, and modern dance.
