Universities in Spain and Mexico welcome new students

Universities in Spain and Mexico have commenced welcome ceremonies for the new academic cycle.

At the University of Jaén (UJA), Rector Nicolás Ruiz welcomed incoming students during orientation sessions held at the Las Lagunillas and Linares Scientific-Technological campuses. For the 2026/2027 academic year, the institution expects to enroll over 17,000 students across undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.

In Mexico, the Tecnológica de Jalisco (UTJ) held a welcome event for the September–December cycle. Rector Dr. Héctor Pulido González, accompanied by academic and institutional leadership, met with the new generation of students to reaffirm the university's commitment to academic excellence and human development.
