University Clinical Center Kragujevac receives European oncology research award

The University Clinical Center (UKC) Kragujevac has received the Certificate of Recognition for Academic Research Activities from the Central and Eastern European Gynecologic Oncology Group (CEEGOG). This award recognizes the institution as one of the most active entities in academic, non-sponsored research within the fields of radiation and gynecologic oncology in Central and Eastern Europe.

The center was selected from a competition of more than 70 prominent European institutions. Assistant Professor Dr. Marija Živković Radojević, who led the gynecologic oncology team at the UKC Kragujevac Clinic for Radiation Oncology, accepted the certificate on behalf of the center. Dr. Živković Radojević is also a member of CEEGOG and has been selected as a Future Investigator Leader for translational research within the European Network for Gynecological Oncological Trial Groups (ENGOT).
