University for Foreigners of Perugia launches academic mission to Mongolia

The University for Foreigners of Perugia (Unistrapg) has conducted its first institutional mission to Mongolia, led by Rector De Cesaris. The mission aims to strengthen academic ties and expand the teaching of the Italian language and culture in the country.

A key outcome of the visit was the signing of a collaboration protocol with the National University of Mongolia. This agreement facilitates Italian language courses for students in the Department of European Studies and establishes frameworks for joint research projects.

The delegation also met with the Mongolian University of Science and Technology and the Imperial Italian School to discuss educational cooperation. Additionally, the mission included the delivery of CELI (Certificazione della Conoscenza della Lingua italiana) diplomas to students at the Centro Italia Mongolia, an institution directed by former Unistrapg students.
