University homecoming celebrations held at Idaho and Alabama

The University of Idaho is hosting its 2026 Homecoming week, themed ‘Vandal Odyssey: Homecoming of Heroes,’ running from October 18 to October 24. The week includes various community activities such as window painting, a blood drive, and a school supplies drive. Scheduled events include student skits, a Vandal Rally and bonfire, and a fireworks display, culminating in parades and football on Saturday.

At the University of Alabama, the 2026 Homecoming festivities featured a pep rally centered on the theme ‘One Tide. Endless Tradition. Forever on the Rise.’ During the ceremony, senior marketing major Kameron Baba was crowned Homecoming Queen. Her campaign, ‘Better with Baba,’ focused on promoting mental and physical well-being and connecting students with campus resources.
