University Hospital Würzburg implements VIDAL and Oracle Health integration

The VIDAL Group has integrated its medical knowledge base into the Oracle Health i.s.h. med electronic patient record system. This integration was first implemented in mid-April 2026 at the University Hospital Würzburg (UKW) in Germany.

University Hospital Würzburg, which manages 1,460 beds and approximately 335,000 patients per year, is the first facility globally to utilize this specific integration. The initial rollout focused on two pilot departments with complex therapeutic requirements: ophthalmology and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Vidal MMI Germany GmbH, a subsidiary of the VIDAL Group, is managing the implementation and customer support within the German market. The project aims to enhance patient safety by seamlessly integrating medical data into existing proprietary data models while adhering to international standards.
