University Library of Sassari announces September cultural program

The University Library of Sassari has announced a cultural program for September, featuring four events scheduled for the 10th, 15th, 17th, and 26th at its headquarters on via Enrico Costa 57.

On September 10, the library will host an exhibition titled ‘Scientific Illustration and Natural Photography. Art to Observe and Understand Nature’. Organized in collaboration with the Sassari Section of FAI, the exhibition features Francesco Curreli, presenting ‘Freshwater Fish of Sardinia’, and Salvatore Abbotto, presenting ‘Habitat and Life of Pelicans in Turkey’. The event explores the use of imagery as a tool for scientific documentation and communication.

On September 15, the library will present a trilingual publication titled ‘Political Figures for the Future of Europe’, produced by the Camillo Bellieni Institute of Studies and Research. Other scheduled events will cover European history, politics, and celebrations for the European Heritage Days.
