University of A Coruña hosts inaugural Alumni Awards

The University of A Coruña (UDC) held the inaugural Alumni UDC Awards to honor graduates for their achievements in business, social impact, research, and professional careers. The ceremony, presided over by Rector Ricardo Cao, recognized four specific alumni.

Jesús Manuel Graña Gómez received the Business Alumni Award for his entrepreneurial trajectory, while Sofía Toro Prieto-Puga was honored with the Social Commitment Award. Marisol Soengas received the Research Alumni Award for her scientific and academic contributions. Additionally, the Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Óscar García Maceiras, a law graduate and CEO of Inditex.
