University of Abuja students pledge support for President Tinubu

The Social Studies Education Postgraduate Students’ Association of Nigeria at the University of Abuja has pledged support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other political candidates ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The association made this announcement following the nomination of member Honourable Julius Adamu as Chairman of the FCT Universal Basic Education Board. Association Chairman Comrade Yakubu Muhammed Billa credited the nomination to FCT Minister Nyesom Wike, describing it as a commitment to youth inclusiveness and merit.

Billa stated that the appointment has encouraged members across the six area councils of the Federal Capital Territory, leading the association to pledge block votes for President Tinubu’s re-election and other endorsed candidates, including Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda.
