The University of Adelaide announced two new postgraduate physiotherapy degrees. The one‑year Master of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) is designed for qualified physiotherapists and focuses on advanced assessment, modern pain science, clinical reasoning and senior‑role preparation. The program includes supervised clinical education, guest speakers and offers formal recognition by the Australian Physiotherapy Association and eligibility for the Specialisation Training Program of the Australian College of Physiotherapists.
The two‑year Master of Physiotherapy (Graduate Entry) provides comprehensive training across musculoskeletal, rehabilitation, paediatrics and community practice, featuring 30 weeks of placements in metropolitan, rural and regional health settings. Graduates become eligible for registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia and gain pathways to advanced clinical roles in both public and private sectors. Both courses emphasize evidence‑based practice and aim to expand career opportunities for physiotherapy professionals.
