University of Aden and Henan Longxiang Electric sign energy and technology partnership

The University of Aden and China's Henan Longxiang Electric Co., Ltd. have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in electrical energy, engineering, technology, and scientific research.

The agreement aims to bridge academic knowledge with industrial applications through joint projects in sustainable development. Key areas of focus include renewable energy, smart grids, electrical engineering, artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), and digital transformation. The partnership also covers solar energy, energy management systems, and the development of a smart campus.

Additional provisions include student and faculty exchange programs, technology transfer, innovation incubators, and the potential establishment of joint research laboratories and training facilities. University of Aden President Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Lasour noted the importance of expanding international relations in modern technology, while Henan Longxiang General Manager Longxiang Dian Qi emphasized the opportunity to exchange expertise and support innovation.
