Aden launches free medical camp for chronic disease patients

The Aden Health Office, in coordination with the Ihsan Foundation for Human Development, has launched the second free medical camp at the Khor Maksar Health Complex in Aden. The initiative specifically targets patients suffering from chronic conditions, including heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes.

Funded by the Abu Hatem Banafa Foundation for Humanitarian Work, the three-day camp (running from October 24 to 26, 2026) provides medical examinations, diagnoses, and free medications. The program is supported by several pharmaceutical partners, including Khamis Pharmaceutical Company, Al-Abed Medical Supplies, and Al-Tawila Pharma.

The camp aims to alleviate the financial burden on patients who struggle to afford treatment due to difficult economic conditions. In addition to clinical services, the initiative includes awareness sessions on preventing chronic diseases and managing their complications.
