University of Aden medical faculties hold charity event

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Aden organized their first joint charity food event on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. The initiative was held at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences campus to raise funds for the mosque located within the medical colleges' precinct.

Sponsored by University of Aden President Professor Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Lasour, the event featured various stalls offering diverse foods and beverages. Students, faculty, and administrative staff participated in organizing the booths and managing the event, which aimed to foster community spirit and volunteerism among health profession students.

Dr. Abdulhakim Omar Al-Tamimi, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, praised the students' efforts, noting that such activities help instill values of compassion and social responsibility alongside academic training. Dr. Rima Al-Huraibi, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, also highlighted the importance of joint student activities in strengthening cooperation between the different faculties.
