University of Alabama SGA President reviews campaign progress

Samantha Simmons, the Student Government Association (SGA) president at the University of Alabama, is tracking the progress of her 28 campaign initiatives. Simmons stated that all 28 of her promises are currently either in progress or completed.

To ensure her goals were achievable, Simmons utilized a focus group consisting of international, first-generation, and transfer students to vet her initiatives before the election. This approach aimed to address the university's history of SGA controversies, including concerns regarding election influence and the organization's purpose.
