University of Bayreuth students seek tree donation for winter program

The Student Parliament (StuPa) of the University of Bayreuth is seeking donations for a planned winter program in 2026. The initiative aims to transform the university's 'Rondell' into a community meeting point during the cold season.

The centerpiece of the project will be a large Christmas tree, approximately 6 to 10 meters in height, placed in the center of the Rondell. The program is intended to include activities such as a wish tree, storytelling sessions, and stalls serving mulled wine and punch. To realize this, students are looking for a conifer that is already scheduled to be felled and can be donated to the project.
