University of Bucharest launches second Academic Mentoring Program

The University of Bucharest has officially launched the second series of its Academic Mentoring Program. This initiative aims to develop research and teaching skills, support academic career progression, and strengthen institutional integration through individualized mentoring plans.

The program facilitates a professional guidance relationship where experienced professors or researchers act as mentors to support less experienced colleagues. These partnerships focus on long-term development rather than evaluation, with goals that may include research publications, new teaching disciplines, or securing grants. Applications for the program are open until October 28, 2026.
