University of Buenos Aires awards Bruno Sarmento honorary doctorate

Bruno Sarmento, a researcher at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health (i3S) at the University of Porto, has been awarded an honorary doctorate by the Faculty of Pharmacy and Biochemistry at the University of Buenos Aires.

The distinction recognizes Sarmento’s scientific, academic, and institutional career, specifically his leadership of the Nanomedicines & Translational Drug Delivery research group. His work has made substantial contributions to pharmaceutical technology, nanomedicine, and advanced drug delivery systems. The University of Buenos Aires also highlighted his leadership in international scientific projects and his role in global scientific organizations.
