University of Calabria to host Agriworld Expo 2026
The University of Calabria (Unical) will host the third edition of Agriworld Expo on October 8 and 9, 2026, at its Arcavacata Campus. The event is organized by the ITEA Association with support from the Calabria Region and the Regional Agency for the Development of Calabrian Agriculture (ARSAC).
Under the theme ‘Terre Assetate’ (Thirsty Lands), the expo focuses on addressing the water crisis through a strategic and scientific alliance between major universities in Southern Italy. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between climate change research and practical agricultural applications, functioning as a Mediterranean laboratory to turn water scarcity into an opportunity for innovation and competitiveness.
