University of Cádiz launches new renewable energy degree

The University of Cádiz (UCA) has launched its 2026/2027 academic year with the introduction of a new degree in Renewable Energy Engineering and a doctorate in Marketing and Market Research.

The new Renewable Energy Engineering degree, hosted at the Bahía de Algeciras Campus, has seen significant initial interest, with more than half of the 60 available spots already filled. According to Nuria Campos, Vice-Rector for Students, the program is designed to address strategic needs in energy transition and decarbonization. Enrollment data for the new doctoral program will be assessed once the registration period progresses.
