University of Cincinnati volleyball begins 2026 season in Illinois

The University of Cincinnati volleyball team is set to begin its 2026 season with two road matches in Champaign, Illinois. The Bearcats will first face the Fighting Illini on Friday at 8 p.m. ET, followed by a match against Syracuse on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.

Cincinnati enters the season following a strong 2025 campaign where they ranked 32nd nationally in hitting percentage and 38th in blocks per set. The team will be led by senior outside hitter Sydney Nolan, a Preseason All-Big 12 selection who led the program in kills per set last season.
