University of Colima academic reviews UN sustainable development report draft
Dr. Cintia Karina Rojas Mayorga, a researcher at the University of Colima and director of the University Center for Environmental Management (CEUGEA), is participating as a scientific reviewer for the second draft of the Global Sustainable Development Report 2027 (GSDR 2027).
The independent review is coordinated by the International Science Council (ISC) at the request of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs. The GSDR is published every four years to provide scientific evidence for policies related to the 2030 Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The 2027 edition will serve as a key input for the SDG Summit scheduled for September 2027. The review process aims to ensure the report addresses relevant sustainability challenges, integrates multidisciplinary knowledge, and accurately reflects the current state of scientific evidence.
