University of Colima hosts workshop on respectful relationships

The Faculty of Telematics at the University of Colima held a conference titled ‘Bientratarme, bientratarte y bientratarnos’ (Treating myself well, treating you well, and treating us well). The event was organized by the Directorate for Comprehensive Attention to Discrimination and Gender Violence as part of the ‘Volando al buentrato’ prevention and awareness program.

The initiative aimed to foster respectful relationships and create educational and work environments free from violence. The program focuses on three dimensions of well-being: personal self-care, interpersonal relationships, and social coexistence.

Participants, including teaching, administrative, and secretarial staff, explored how to actively build relationships based on respect, listening, care, cooperation, and shared responsibility, rather than simply avoiding abusive behaviors.
