University of Colima joins national transparency and auditing program

The University of Colima (UdeC) has joined the National Program of University Auditors, a national initiative designed to train students in ethics, transparency, fiscal oversight, and citizen participation. Under this program, students can perform social service while receiving specialized training in accountability and reporting mechanisms.

The agreement was signed by UdeC Rector Christian Jorge Torres Ortiz Zermeño and Aureliano Hernández Palacios Cardel, the Superior Auditor of the Federation (ASF). The signing ceremony took place at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (UANL) and included representatives from ten public higher education institutions. The National Association of Universities and Higher Education Institutions (ANUIES) also participated in the agreement.
