University of Colima professor assumes nursing college presidency

Gabriela Maldonado Muñiz, a professor at the University of Colima, has assumed the presidency of the College of Nursing Professionals of the State of Colima. The transition took place during the academic conference “Enfermería Actual: Retos y avances en la práctica profesional” held at the university's scientific campus.

Alongside her board, which includes Vice President Claudia Mojarro González, the new administration will focus on professional practice, national and international certification, and nursing innovation. The event also included workshops on medical equipment management and the delivery of certifications to nursing personnel from the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), IMSS Bienestar, and the University of Colima.
