University of Colima staff participate in wellness and art program
Staff from the General Directorate of Publications at the University of Colima participated in a three-session program titled “Caminos de Encuentro: arte, naturaleza y emociones” (Paths of Encounter: art, nature, and emotions). The initiative combined cultural activities with exercises designed to help participants recognize stress, manage emotions, and reflect on daily coexistence.
The program included a nature walk in Coquimatlán to observe local environments and sessions focused on socio-emotional well-being. University psychologist Francisco Javier López Pineda led discussions on strategies to face stress and anxiety through self-knowledge and interpersonal relationship exercises. Additionally, Blanca Cilia Reyes Martínez from the General Directorate of Cultural Diffusion presented various artistic expressions, ranging from visual arts and music to literature, film, and video games.
