The University of Colima has welcomed 43 visiting students from nine different countries for the August 2026–January 2027 academic semester. These students will attend various faculties, with some participating in dual-degree programs.
Cecilia García Valencia, director of the Office of Internationalization and Academic Cooperation (ODICA), noted that the university has over 26 years of experience in academic mobility programs. The visiting group includes students from Brazil, China, Colombia, South Korea, Spain, Japan, Morocco, Russia, and Mexico.
During their induction, students received information regarding academic schedules, tutoring, and accreditation requirements. The welcome event included a tour of the central campus sports facilities and a cultural fair organized by former exchange students to introduce the visitors to Mexican traditions.
