The University of Dayton athletic teams secured victories in both football and men's soccer this weekend.

In football, the Dayton Flyers defeated the Thomas More Saints 30-7 at Welcome Stadium. The Flyers moved to a 2-0 season record behind early scoring drives, including a 43-yard rushing touchdown by Gavin Lochow and a 28-yard run by Luke Hansen. The defense also contributed with key plays, including a fumble recovery by Ross Coppock.

In men's soccer, the Dayton Flyers earned a 3-2 victory over the Butler Bulldogs. Despite Butler leading twice during the match, Dayton leveled the score through goals from Pablo Martinez and Antonio Pinto. A late goal in the second half secured the win for the Flyers, bringing their record to 4-1-1.
