University of Delhi to host AVASAR 2026 placement drive

University of Delhi is set to host the second edition of its flagship placement drive, AVASAR 2026, on October 7. Organized by the Central Placement Cell under the Dean of Students Welfare, the event will take place at the Multipurpose Hall in the North Campus from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

More than 85 companies and institutions are expected to participate, including Sprix Japan, Teach For India, Kotak Life, and Muthoot Finance. The drive is open to students from all courses and academic backgrounds within the university. Over 4,000 students have already registered for the event.

According to university officials, the maximum annual salary package offered could exceed 10 lakh rupees, while internship stipends may reach up to 60,000 rupees per month. Formerly known as the ‘Job Mela’, the initiative aims to facilitate direct interaction between students and employers across various professional domains.
