University of Extremadura offers free AI and cybersecurity training

The University of Extremadura (UEx) has launched a free technological training program for its entire university community, including students, faculty, and staff. Through an agreement with Oracle, participants will gain unlimited access to the Oracle MyLearn digital platform.

The program covers a wide range of technical subjects, including artificial intelligence, generative AI, cloud computing, data science, application development, databases, and cybersecurity. Additionally, the curriculum includes training on enterprise applications used in finance, human resources, procurement, and logistics.

A key feature of this initiative is that the cost waiver extends beyond the training itself; the official certification exams are also free of charge. Courses are organized by level, allowing beginners to start with basic content while providing advanced professional tracks for those with existing technical expertise.
