University of Ghana sets final deadline for application corrections

The University of Ghana has set a final deadline of 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, for undergraduate applicants to correct errors in their submitted forms for the 2026/2027 academic year.

The Academic Affairs Directorate, led by Director Lydia Anowa Nyako-Danquah, is urging applicants to log into the UG Application Portal to verify critical details. Specifically, students must ensure their full names are in the correct order, dates of birth are accurate, and examination records—including index numbers, sitting months, and years—are correctly captured.

Once the noon deadline passes, the portal will close to all changes, and the admissions processing phase will begin. The university also advised prospective students to make realistic programme choices by consulting the 2025/2026 entry cut-off aggregates available on the admissions website. Applications for candidates with WASSCE results remain open, with e-vouchers available through designated banks or mobile USSD codes.
